Driving is the awkward part. Parking near the Balcón is tight and gets worse in summer, so I'd leave the car at your accommodation and walk in. If terrace access matters for wheelchairs or pushchairs, call the venue first to check the layout.

I'd go back, and I'd go for the terrace. Cochran's is an honest Irish pub with one outstanding asset: a sea-view terrace beside the Balcón de Europa that few bars in Nerja can match.

The food and service won't win awards, and on a bad day they'll frustrate you. Order a burger and a pint, sit by the rail at sunset, and the place makes sense.

Best for: sunset drinks with a sea view, English-speaking comfort, late-night pints, and casual groups who want the panorama over the plate.
