I'm a South African who fell in love with Málaga and never left.

After years of exploring every corner of this beautiful city, I realized that the rooftop scene here was something special that deserved its own dedicated guide.

I live here. I visit these venues regularly.

When something changes, like a new chef, a renovation, or a shift in quality, I update my reviews.

This isn't a job I do from behind a desk; it's how I experience my adopted city.

About the Site

Málaga Rooftop Bars launched in 2023 as a side project alongside my main travel blog, Spain on Foot. What started as a simple list has grown into a comprehensive guide covering Málaga, Marbella, and Torremolinos, with plans to expand further along the Costa del Sol.

The site is a labor of love, built and maintained by me and my husband Jethro (who handles the technical side while I focus on the content). We're not a big media company, just two people who care deeply about helping visitors discover the best of what this region has to offer.
