6 Rooftop Bars With Live Music in Málaga

Where to hear live music on a Málaga rooftop bar: weekend flamenco, Spanish guitar, and Friday-night DJs, with floors, timings, and local tips.

Málaga's best rooftop bars don't just hand you a view. The good ones put live music behind it. I've spent enough weekend evenings up here to know which terraces actually book bands and which just play a Spotify list.

Some lean into Spanish guitar at sunset. Others switch to a DJ once the light drops. One runs flamenco on a fixed night each week.

The six below are the ones I keep going back to for the music, not just the skyline. Dates and times shift constantly, so check each bar's Instagram before you climb up, since a lineup that played last Friday might be off this week.

How Do You Know Which Rooftops Have Live Music Tonight?

Check the bar's Instagram first. Most Málaga rooftops post that week's lineup a day or two ahead, and almost none keep a fixed printed schedule. If there's nothing online, call the hotel reception and ask for the rooftop.

Weekends are your safest bet. Friday to Sunday is when Molina Lario, Lolita Skyview and the AC Palacio terrace are most likely to have a band or DJ on, and Well&Come occasionally joins them on Friday and Saturday nights.

Flamenco usually runs on a set night rather than at random. Áurea does Wednesdays, so it's worth planning around rather than chancing on a walk-in.
