10 Best Rooftop Bars in Malaga (With Video Walkthroughs)

After living in Malaga for years, these are our favourite rooftop bars that have cathedral, castle and city views, cocktails, and even live music.

It's hard to find the perfect rooftop, especially when you're on holiday.

We live in the city of Malaga, and each time we thought we had found all of the rooftops, another one popped up. So far, we've found 24 amazing rooftops in Malaga, each one special in its own way, and I still don't think that's all of them. We picked these rooftops because each one has something special: amazing views, perfect cocktails, and even live music.

These are the best rooftop bars in Malaga - in my opinion!

It's a little upscale but still totally relaxed, which is why it's my favourite rooftop in the city. You can order Mediterranean and Spanish dishes, sip something refreshing, and just let the city hum below you.

Watch the sun rise over Malaga from the highest point in the city. The views stretch from the bullring to the port and beyond.

The castle opens at 9am, but staying at the Parador gives you access to the terrace at dawn - before anyone else arrives.

Where to Stay

Parador de Malaga Gibralfaro - The only hotel with direct castle access. Wake up and walk straight onto the terrace for sunrise.
