Most Málaga hotels reject hen bookings or cancel mid-stay. These won't: group-friendly hen party accommodation, from design hotels to pool villas.
Finding hen party accommodation in Málaga is harder than it should be. Most hotels will reject a hen group booking. The ones that don't will quietly cancel you once they realise. Airbnb hosts stop responding the moment you mention it's a hen do.
Some properties do welcome groups though, and some of them are genuinely lovely. Here's what I've found.
Do Hotels in Málaga Accept Hen Parties?
Some do, but most won't advertise it. Boutique hotels flag multi-room bookings for manual review, and "hen party" usually means an automatic rejection. Old Town apartments sit among residents who complain straight to the council, so hosts cancel rather than risk the fines. Airbnb hosts have heard the horror stories, and one noise complaint tanks their rating.
The big chain hotels and design properties that host events all the time are different. They handle groups without blinking. So the trick is two things: pick a hotel big enough to absorb a group, and describe the booking as friends celebrating a special occasion rather than leading with "hen do". The properties below all take groups.

Just respect the neighbours and keep the noise inside. Get it right and you've got space, privacy, and the run of the place.

How Much Does Hen Accommodation in Málaga Cost?
Budget for €40 to €120 per person per night. Hostels and Soho pod stays sit at the lower end. Design hotels with a rooftop and four-bedroom villas with a private pool push toward the top.
Villas usually work out cheaper per head once you split a six-bedroom rental across a big group. Hotels win on central location and on someone else handling the mess.
Booking Tips
Do's
- Book directly with the hotel where possible
- Be honest about your group size and describe it as "friends celebrating a special occasion"
- Pay deposits promptly
- Ask about their group policy before committing
- Book 6-8 weeks ahead for summer
Don'ts
- Don't book rooms under different names to disguise a group
- Don't book a residential Old Town Airbnb and hope for the best, that's complaints and eviction waiting to happen
- Don't undercount your group, you'll get turned away at check-in
- Don't book anywhere with "peaceful" or "quiet" in the description, that's code for "no groups"
- Don't trust a tiny boutique hotel (10 rooms or so), it's too small to absorb a group
- Don't fall for "party apartments" marketed as such, they're often unlicensed and get cancelled
Getting There
Málaga airport is 15 minutes from the centre. The C1 Cercanías train runs to María Zambrano station and Málaga Centro-Alameda in about 12 minutes for a couple of euros, then it's a short walk or taxi to most of the hotels here. A taxi straight from the airport to the Old Town is around €20–€25 for the car, which splits well across a group with luggage.
Staying in a villa in Benalmádena or Fuengirola? The same C1 train runs from the airport down the coast in 25–35 minutes, so you don't need a hire car unless you want one.
