A slim plunge pool, with sweeping sea and city views, and a serene, upscale rooftop vibe.
Lolita Skyview Rooftop Pool sits on the 8th floor of Only YOU Hotel Málaga. It's an exclusive infinity-edge plunge pool for hotel guests, with views over the port, cathedral, and Mediterranean Sea.
I dropped into the submerged loungers at noon with a cold drink and didn't move for an hour. It's our favourite rooftop pool in Málaga, and the calmest. Bring swimwear for the water; a cover-up is fine for crossing the terrace or ordering at the bar.
Important: The pool is exclusively for hotel guests - there are no day passes available. If you're not staying at the hotel but want the views, the Lolita Skyview Rooftop Bar welcomes all visitors from the afternoon.
Best For
- Hotel guests wanting Málaga's most scenic rooftop pool experience
- Couples and solo travellers seeking a quiet, upscale retreat
- Photography enthusiasts - the infinity edge frames the cathedral and sea
Not Ideal For
- Non-guests, as pool access is strictly hotel guests only
- Families looking for a splash pool for kids
- Swimmers wanting to do laps - it's a plunge pool for cooling off

Our Verdict
The Lolita Skyview pool is our favourite rooftop pool in Málaga. It's compact, so you won't swim laps, but the infinity edge, in-water loungers, and views over the port, cathedral, and sea do the work. It feels like a hideaway in the sky: small, quiet, and carefully designed.
Book here if: You want the most scenic rooftop pool experience in Málaga, you appreciate sleek design and infinity-edge drama, and you value a quiet, exclusive atmosphere for slow afternoons and sunset sipping.
Look elsewhere if: You're not booking a hotel room (no day passes available), you want a pool for actual swimming, or you're travelling with children who need space to splash around.

Is the Lolita Skyview rooftop pool open to the public?
No, the pool is exclusively for registered guests of Only YOU Hotel Málaga, on the hotel's 8th floor. There's no day pass and no walk-in access, even for people drinking at the Lolita Skyview rooftop bar on the same terrace. Book a room to get in; the bar itself stays open to everyone from the afternoon.
Do I need to reserve a spot at the Lolita Skyview pool?
No reservation is needed. Pool access is included with your hotel stay and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
What are the Lolita Skyview pool hours?
The pool runs 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, the same window listed in Pool Hours above. Loungers fill up fastest by midday, so guests who want the water to themselves come right at opening. Hours can shift with weather or the season, so it's worth confirming at reception if you're visiting outside peak summer.
Is there poolside service at Lolita Skyview?
Yes. Drinks and light Mediterranean bites can be ordered straight to your sun lounger from the Lolita Skyview bar, with cocktails and spritzes from around €10 to €12. Service comes to the water's edge, so there's no need to leave your spot for a refill or a snack between dips.
Are children allowed at the Lolita Skyview pool?
Yes, but the space is designed for quiet relaxation. Children must be supervised, and the overall vibe is more suited to adults.
Is the Lolita Skyview pool heated?
No, the Lolita Skyview pool is unheated. It's a plunge pool built for cooling off fast in Málaga's summer heat, not for lounging in warm water. It's most refreshing around midday, when the sun is highest; mornings and late afternoon it feels noticeably cooler.
Can I use the pool after check-out?
Pool access runs for the length of your stay and ends at checkout, same as the room. There's no published late-checkout allowance for the pool specifically. If you want extra time, asking reception directly is the only way to find out, since any flexibility depends on that day's bookings.
