We tried every rooftop bar in Torremolinos. Some stunned, others flopped. Here's our honest ranking. Cocktails, views, vibes and all.

Finding the best rooftop bars in Torremolinos was not an easy task. I'm based in Malaga, which isn't far, but if you miss a rooftop, you have to go back. Sigh.

The truth is, the town's rooftop scene is more limited than Malaga's. But what Torremolinos lacks in numbers, it sometimes makes up for in views. There are even some unique finds, like a clothing-optional rooftop pool and a bar that doubles as a nightclub and a sports lounge.

These are the eight best rooftops in Torremolinos, ranked the way I'd recommend them.

P.S. Bars may not be everyone's thing, so you might prefer these rooftop restaurants in Torremolinos instead.

Which Is the Best Rooftop Bar in Torremolinos?

Sky and Sea at the Meliá Costa del Sol is the best rooftop bar in Torremolinos. It has the widest sea view, a 16-plus calm, and a pool-deck setting that beats the rest for sunset drinks.

If you want food and music over a view-only drink, Space Monkey is the better evening. For a party, head to Clock Tower on Plaza Costa del Sol.

What to Expect from Rooftop Bars in Torremolinos

Don't come expecting velvet ropes and skyline cocktails. Most rooftop bars here are perched atop hotels and lean casual. You'll get plastic menus, straightforward drinks, and in some cases, genuinely great sea views.

If you're here for the vibe more than the vermouth, you'll find some gems, but you'll need to know where to look.

The Best Rooftop Bars in Torremolinos

Sky and Sea Rooftop

Blue-lit rooftop pool at night at Sky and Sea bar in Torremolinos

The standout rooftop in Torremolinos, Sky and Sea, crowns the top floor of the Meliá Costa del Sol. It's a 1,200-square-metre deck with a pool, Bali beds and an open line of Mediterranean over Playa Bajondillo. The 16-plus rule keeps the volume low, so it feels more like a beach club in the sky than a hotel pool. Come 1–2 hours before sunset for the best light.

Sunset view: Full coastal panorama over Playa Bajondillo
Vibe: Calm, beach-club-in-the-sky, adults-only
Access: Open to the public, 16+
Best time to visit: 1–2 hours before sunset
Dress code: Smart casual
Live music: None, just ambient beats
Entrance: Top floor, Meliá Costa del Sol
Address: Paseo Marítimo, 11, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga

Space Monkey

Evening jacuzzi and parasols lit up on Space Monkey rooftop in Torremolinos

Space Monkey is the one I'd book for a full evening, not just a drink. It pairs front-row sea views with a proper grill: smoky meats and a Wagyu burger that punches above bar-snack level. There's a covered rooftop jacuzzi, and live music runs Thursday to Saturday. It opens at 7pm and runs late, so it's an after-dark spot rather than a sundowner.

Sunset view: Front-row Mediterranean over the seafront
Vibe: Mellow lounge with a grill and live music
Access: Open to the public
Best time to visit: From 7pm, Thursday to Saturday for music
Dress code: Smart casual
Live music: Yes, Thursday to Saturday
Entrance: Top of the building, Avenida del Lido
Address: Avenida del Lido, s/n, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga

Clock Tower Rooftop

Decked rooftop bar with stools and festoon lights at Clock Tower Torremolinos

Clock Tower on Plaza Costa del Sol is the one that does something different. It's a multi-level venue that runs from sports bar to nightclub, with the rooftop terrace on top. Expect screens showing football at sunset, cocktails and burgers, then DJs taking over by 10pm. It's loud, casual and unpretentious, and on Fridays and Saturdays it keeps going until 4am.

Sunset view: Plaza Costa del Sol and the town centre
Vibe: High-energy, sport-and-party, multi-level
Access: Open to the public
Best time to visit: Sunset for sport, after 10pm for DJs
Dress code: Casual
Live music: Weekend DJs from around 10pm
Entrance: Street level on Plaza Costa del Sol, then up
Address: Plaza Costa del Sol, 1, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga

BlueSide Skybar

Blue-lit lounge seating at dusk on Blueside Skybar terrace in Torremolinos

BlueSide Skybar sits on the top floor of the Leonardo Hotel Torremolinos Costa del Sol, the central four-star you may still know as BlueSea Gran Cervantes. The view runs straight over the rooftops to the Mediterranean, with the Sierra de Mijas behind. It's mellow and unpretentious early on, then shifts to DJ beats on weekend nights. There's no full menu, just spritzes, gin tonics and cava.

Sunset view: Coastline to the Med, Sierra de Mijas behind
Vibe: Mellow lounge, weekend DJ energy
Access: Open to the public
Best time to visit: Golden hour, or weekends for DJs
Dress code: Resort casual
Live music: Weekend DJ sets
Entrance: Top floor, Leonardo Hotel (ex-Gran Cervantes)
Address: C. las Mercedes, s/n, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga

Barracuda Rooftop

Sofa lounge area with sea views on Barracuda rooftop terrace in Torremolinos

Barracuda Rooftop Bar sits on the 10th floor of Hotel La Barracuda, right above the Paseo Marítimo by La Carihuela. It's the highest of the beachfront rooftops here, with uninterrupted Mediterranean views and wicker chairs. The vibe is unfussy: no velvet ropes, well-priced drinks, and a piña colada that hits the mark. It's the spot for a no-fuss sundowner straight off the sand.

Sunset view: 10th-floor sweep over Playa de la Carihuela
Vibe: Casual, breezy, low-key
Access: Hotel guests + public welcome
Best time to visit: 7–8 PM before it fills
Dress code: Beach casual
Live music: Occasional on warm nights
Entrance: 10th floor, Hotel La Barracuda
Address: Av. de España, 1, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga

Gastrobar Sireno

Pink sunbeds with parasols on the rooftop terrace at Gastrobar Sireno Torremolinos

Gastrobar Sireno is the grown-up dinner pick: a polished, adults-only rooftop on the 6th floor of Hotel Sireno. It pairs modern Spanish tapas and cocktails with both sea and city views. The crowd is calm, the food is thoughtful, and the pink-sunbed terrace leans date-night rather than party. It opens evenings, Tuesday to Saturday, so plan around the kitchen.

Sunset view: Sea and city views from the 6th floor
Vibe: Calm, classy, adults-only, food-focused
Access: Open to the public, 18+
Best time to visit: Tuesday to Saturday evenings
Dress code: Smart casual
Live music: Occasionally
Entrance: 6th floor, Hotel Sireno
Address: C. de las Mercedes, 12, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga

Los Jazmines Lounge

White bar counter and high stools with sea views at Los Jazmines Torremolinos

Los Jazmines Lounge crowns the palm-lined Hotel Los Jazmines above the Bajondillo seafront, its terrace turned west toward the sunset coast. Don't let the "lounge" name oversell it. This is a friendly, beach-casual roof with classic drinks at honest prices, the sea a block away. It's a sundowner stop, not a cocktail temple, and that's exactly the point.

Sunset view: West-facing sea and promenade, sunset side
Vibe: Beach-casual, old-school holiday hotel
Access: Guests + public allowed
Best time to visit: Sunset
Dress code: Beach casual
Live music: Rare
Entrance: Hotel lobby, lift to the roof
Address: Calle México, 3, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga

Hotel Ritual

White canopy daybeds on the pink rooftop at Hotel Ritual in Torremolinos

The Nude Zone rooftop sits on the 9th floor of Hotel Ritual, the first and largest LGBTI hotel on the Costa del Sol. The draw is a clothing-optional infinity pool that spills toward Bajondillo Beach, with west-facing sunsets, weekend DJs and an all-are-welcome attitude. The catch: it's adults-only and guests-only, so you can't walk in off the street. You'll need a room.

Sunset view: West-facing sunset over Bajondillo Beach
Vibe: Bold, inclusive, clothing-optional
Access: Hotel guests only, adults-only, no day pass
Best time to visit: Golden hour and Saturday evenings
Dress code: Swimwear optional at the pool
Live music: DJs on weekends
Entrance: 9th floor, Hotel Ritual
Address: Calle Brasil, 2, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga

Torremolinos Rooftop Bars: Our Verdict

Out of these eight rooftops in Torremolinos, we'd go back to maybe three.

Sky and Sea is the standout. Wide sea views, good drinks, and the kind of place that feels worth dressing up a little for. Space Monkey wins for the sea-view grill and jacuzzi. And Clock Tower earns a nod for going full party.

The rest? Use your judgment. Or better yet, bookmark this and pretend you already knew.
