Adults-only rooftop bar with Mediterranean views, author cocktails celebrating Andalusian flavors, live music, and sophisticated chill atmosphere.
36-5º Rooftop Bar, often written 365 Rooftop Bar, sits on the roof of Hotel Ángela and aims for the grown-up end of Fuengirola's nightlife.
I went on a Friday evening for the cocktails and stayed for the live music. The adults-only rule was the first thing I noticed: no kids, no resort-pool noise, just sea air and a barman talking me through Andalusian ingredients.
The catch is the schedule. It opens evenings only, Thursday to Sunday, and shuts for winter, so you can't drop in casually.
Below I cover the vibe, the author cocktails and prices, the views and seating, the dress code, and how to book a table.
Best For
- Adults seeking sophisticated cocktail experiences without family energy
- Cocktail enthusiasts who appreciate regional ingredient storytelling
- Couples wanting romantic evening sessions with live music

Not Ideal For
- Families with children - strict +18 adults-only policy
- Those seeking year-round availability (seasonal March-October)
- Visitors wanting extended late-night hours on weekdays

Check PricesWhere Is 365 Rooftop Bar in Fuengirola?
365 Rooftop Bar sits on top of Hotel Ángela at C. Jaén 2, a short walk inland from the seafront promenade. You'll see it written both ways, 36-5º and 365, but it's the same place.
Take the lift from the hotel lobby to the top floor. It's open to the public, not just hotel guests, and runs evenings only from Thursday to Sunday.
It's one of a handful of proper rooftops in town. For the alternatives, see my guide to the best rooftop bars in Fuengirola.
The Vibe
Step onto the terrace and you notice what's absent. No children, no generic frozen cocktails, none of the casual resort energy that dominates Costa del Sol rooftops.
This is deliberately adult space, built for evening sessions where the drink in your hand matters as much as the view in front of you.

I came at sunset and the room filled slowly as the light dropped. A violinist played near the bar while the sky went orange over the water. By the time it was dark, the crowd had settled into that low, relaxed hum you get when nobody's rushing anywhere. Come around 8pm if you want the sunset and a seat.
Opening Hours
Seasonal operation: March 15 - October 26
Operating days and hours:
- Monday-Wednesday: Closed
- Thursday: 17:00 - 20:00
- Friday-Saturday: 17:00 - 00:00 (midnight)

Kitchen service:
- Standard: Until 20:00
- Extended during live music performances: Until 22:00
Closed: October 26 through March 15 (winter months)
The limited schedule creates exclusivity. You need to plan visits around the operating hours rather than dropping in casually.

The View & Seating
The rooftop position provides Mediterranean coastal perspectives that justify the rooftop designation.
What you see:
- Mediterranean Sea stretching toward the horizon
- Fuengirola's coastline and beach
- Sunset over the water during evening sessions
- Coastal development and marina area
- Stars emerging as evening progresses
Seating:
- Limited capacity ensuring intimate atmosphere
- Lounge seating for relaxed cocktail sessions
- High-top tables for small groups
- Bar seating for solo visitors or cocktail focus
- Strategic positioning maximizing sea views
The limited seating is deliberate. It keeps the room intimate and means everyone gets proper space and a bit of bartender attention.
Hotel Ángela also has a rooftop infinity pool, but that's separate from the bar. The pool is reserved for guests on the Angela Premium package, or you can buy a day pass. The bar itself needs no pool access.
Events & Live Music
The music programme is the reason to come on a weekend. Across the season the rooftop rotates DJs, flamenco sets, violinists and live singers, so the atmosphere shifts depending on the night.
Performance evenings extend the kitchen until 22:00, which gives you longer to pair tapas with the show. Friday and Saturday are the liveliest.
Check their website or Instagram before visiting to see what's scheduled for your dates.

Sunset from Sohail Castle Walls
Climb the ancient Moorish castle walls as the sun sets over the Mediterranean. The 10th-century fortress offers panoramic views of Fuengirola's coastline, and the golden hour light turns the stone walls amber.
“The castle closes at 6pm in winter, 8pm in summer. Stay nearby and time your visit for the hour before closing - you'll catch the best light with fewer visitors.”
Hotel Las Rampas - Only 10 minutes walk from Sohail Castle. Close enough to visit at sunset, far enough to enjoy peaceful beachfront location.
Check AvailabilityDress Code
36-5º maintains smart-casual standards befitting its sophisticated cocktail focus and adults-only positioning.
What works:
- Smart casual throughout (collared shirts, dresses, stylish trousers)
- Resort elegant for evening sessions
- Well-kept footwear - proper shoes preferred
- Effort that matches the refined atmosphere
What doesn't work:
- Beach flip-flops or pool sandals
- Swimwear or beach cover-ups
- Very casual sportswear
- Overly relaxed beach attire
The cocktail programme and +18 policy call for dressing accordingly. This isn't a casual beach bar.

Our Verdict
This is Fuengirola's most grown-up rooftop, and it knows it. The author cocktails actually deliver on the Andalusian story, the views earn the rooftop label, and the live music turns a weekend visit into an evening rather than a quick drink.
The trade-off is access. Evenings only, Thursday to Sunday, closed all winter, and the +18 rule rules out families. Plan around it and you'll have a good night.
Best for: couples and small groups after a refined, music-led cocktail evening with sea views.
Skip if: you're travelling with kids, want a casual beach-bar feel, or need somewhere open during the day or in winter.
For a more casual, beachfront alternative, try Sky Bar Veramar instead.
